Stuart will be forever remembered for his loyalty, devotion, and genuinely good heart. and his wife Kendall, and sisters Holly Maxwell and her husband John, and Shannon Hewgley and her husband Abe, as well as many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his father, Charles Pace and Charles's partner Anne Collier, his mother, Margaret Arrington and her husband, Wayne, brother Charlie Pace Jr. Stuart is survived by his loving wife, Kathryn, son Tatum, and daughter Kaylee. He cherished coaching his children's little league teams, exploring the outdoors, listening to live music, and having a passion for good food. It didn't seem to matter what the sport was, he was there for it and often knew more stats than anyone in the room. Stuart's joy centered on being present for his kids and following his favorite sports teams - the Longhorns, the Cowboys, the Mavericks, and the Rangers. He loved to coach his kids in all sports, and he talked of being a coach in retirement, the perfect intersection of sports and working with children. He was thrilled to pick them up after school and be there for their activities. At work, Stuart chose to start his work day at 6am so that he could be present for his children after their school day. ![]() After over 20 years of service, he was looking forward to retiring. In 2001, Stuart joined the State of Texas with the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs and in 2009, the Texas Workforce Commission as an Auditor. Their son Tatum was born in 2008 and their daughter Kaylee was born three years later in 2011. ![]() However, his love for his college sweetheart brought him back to Texas, and he and Kathryn married in 2007. Stuart attended The University of Texas at Austin, and after graduating with a degree in Economics, worked at Forest City Real Estate in Denver, CO. In High School, he narrowed his sporting interests to golf and as a freshman played on the varsity golf team for Highland Park's first state championship. He spent his childhood in Highland Park in Dallas, TX playing all sports with his siblings Charlie, Holly, and Shannon. Stuart was born in Dallas, TX, to Margaret Streckmann Arrington and Charles Wellington Pace. Stuart was also a joyful brother, a faithful son, and a loyal friend to many. Most of all, Stuart will be remembered as an adoring father and devoted husband. Stuart will be remembered for his deep love of family, quiet thoughtfulness, and love of The University of Texas team sports and Dallas professional sports.
